Get to know the Vision system!

Roadshow 2022 was characterized by technological innovations presented to our customers in Košice, Žilina and Brno. In cooperation with the companies like DATALOGIC, SIMAP GROUP, Mitsubishi Electric, PROGLOVE, PointX and PROFYLAX, we prepared interesting lectures again with real product demonstrations. The theme of this year was Innovations in production, logistics and maintenance.

Record attendance and networking

The entire event lasted three days, during which we presented our latest products in a different city each day. The lectures focused on new technologies that we had recently launched on the market. We kicked off the series of interesting lectures presented throughout the Roadshow in the pleasant surroundings of Košice. We continued in our home town of Žilina, where the event achieved record attendance, which was also combined with interesting networking. The entire roadshow culminated in Brno. We supplemented the presentations in all cities with practical demonstrations, and our solutions also attracted new potential customers.

Cameras can do more than you think

Constant technological developments are bringing changes to our company as well, and since the last roadshow, we have started using other technologies that are becoming increasingly popular. As a result, we have introduced two new products to our product portfolio. Systems based on image recognition using neural networks are a reliable partner for achieving workplace safety and a great aid for performing regular automatic inventory.

Automatic inventory in just a few hours

The entire process consists of training the system, which we can teach to accurately recognize objects within two days. Thanks to the use of cameras, the system can identify an object in a matter of milliseconds, even under different lighting conditions or from different angles.

This makes it possible, for example, to perform automatic inventory using drones, which is an alternative to traditional inventory. However, it does not take days, it does not take up employees' working time, but within a few hours, outside working hours, drones can perform automatic inventory in outdoor or indoor storage areas completely autonomously. Thanks to their cameras, drones can visually count objects such as boxes, pallets, and the volume of materials (wood, bulk materials, etc.) on a daily basis, making inventory much easier.

Vision systems can predict danger

It is also possible to ensure greater safety in the workplace, for example, by using cameras to predict the threat of a collision between forklifts and other vehicles or workers and to send an audible or visual warning of the approaching danger in good time. We can also identify incorrectly stored goods and assess the possibility of a fall, alert employees to the risk zone, and thus prevent workplace accidents. Since the system can count objects, it is possible to determine the occupancy of common areas and storage positions, thereby minimizing unnecessary downtime.

A warehouse assistant that saves time and money

When picking goods, we can visually identify the number of items, the type of material, and check that the order has been picked correctly. Thanks to the camera, light-based handling can be much simpler, cheaper, and almost error-free, or errors can be identified very quickly. By inspecting objects, we can easily identify errors on the production line in real time, even with the first incorrectly manufactured casting, thus minimizing unnecessary costs. This allows for immediate repair or correction of the production machine.

A solution ten times cheaper

All tasks can be performed with standard cameras, making the solution up to ten times cheaper than conventional solutions. We demonstrated this solution on our demo rack, which is a fully functional prototype of the Vision system in combination with the M2L system.

Thank you for your participation and we look forward to next year!
