In June, our company participated in the Metro Arch Camp 2025 conference in Poprad, which is one of the unique events reflecting current challenges associated with digitalization, automation, smart city management and energy. In an environment full of experts and leaders from various fields, including healthcare, we had the opportunity to present our internal logistics solutions for the Bory Hospital (Penta Hospitals).
Innovations in hospital logistics
Within the Healthcare section, we presented the internal logistics solution at Bory Bratislava Hospital (Penta Hospitals). We showed how the internal logistics system (ILS) and warehouse management system (WMS) work in such a complex healthcare environment - from clear inventory management to precise material flow management.
Invisible but welcome – internal logistics at Bory Hospital
Our CEO, Martin Jančo, presented Bory Hospital during his presentation as an example of the most modern hospital in Slovakia, where logistics is not just a supporting activity, but the backbone of functioning. Thanks to the implementation of the WMS system (Warehouse Management System) and the ILS system (Internal Logistics System), we were able to:
ensure 20% higher employee efficiency,
ensure 20% less movement of logisticians,
reduce the administrative burden by 70%,
reduce the training time for new employees by a third,
optimize inventory management and minimize errors in the delivery of materials, medicines and food.
Networking and exchange of experiences
Martin Jančo also participated in a panel discussion at the Metro Camp conference entitled "Construction of modern hospitals in Slovakia - Banská Bystrica, Martin, Prešov. Challenges, innovations and digital transformation", where we opened the topic of logistics as an important element in the planning and daily operation of new generation hospitals.
Metro Camp 2025 confirmed that digitalization and efficient inventory management are the keys to a modern and safe hospital. For us, it was not just a presentation of a solution. It was an opportunity to show what happens when technology is combined with a responsible approach to the patient and modern healthcare.
In a hospital, it's not about a delayed component - it's about health. And that's why mistakes are not acceptable here.
