We delivered the first version of the TLS system within 3 months of signing the contract in the fall of 2016.
The loading time window organization system enables loading planning in individual warehouses or loading points of the company.
Information from the main ERP system is used. Companies providing transportation of goods to customers are provided with access to planned transportations with the possibility of registering (planning) them into time windows.
The system allows planning and optimizing transportation between warehouses and also planning windows for unloading goods that SHP Harmanec purchases from suppliers for resale.

Efficient expedition planning
The increase in demand and the planned growth in production required the introduction of effective processes for planning the shipment of goods. The original system for planning the arrival of trucks for shipment did not ensure their uniformity and balance within the day or week. The imbalance in the arrival of trucks and their loading could cause delays in the delivery of goods to customers.
The most important features of the required system:
-
Data processing without the use of Excel files.
-
Ensure planned and uniform arrivals of trucks within time windows.
-
Simple and fast overviews of information necessary for decision-making.
-
Effective sharing of information between carriers and suppliers (SHP Harmanec).
