Innovation — science and drug discovery
Code from M2M Solutions that helps find new drugs
Fragalysis is a cloud-based platform for fragment-based screening of chemical compounds, jointly developed by the University of Oxford, Diamond Light Source and M2M Solutions. Our team contributes to it with front-end development.

A tool that accelerates the first steps in drug development
Fragalysis is a cloud-based platform that allows scientists to analyze thousands of chemical compounds quickly and efficiently — by combining fragment screening and X-ray crystallography. Instead of manually searching through vast amounts of data, researchers have a web-based application where results are immediately available and comparable.
The platform aims to accelerate the earliest, slowest step in the discovery of new drugs — identifying which chemical fragments bind to a target protein and therefore have the potential to become the basis for a new drug.
The project is funded by Janssen, a pharmaceutical partner within Johnson & Johnson, along with other sponsors who provide free access to the platform to scientists around the world.
Who is behind the project?
Fragalysis is a collaboration of three distinct expertises — academic research, scientific data management, and software engineering. Funding is provided by Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) along with other project sponsors.

M2M Solutions

Why are we talking about this?
It shows that the M2M team can operate outside of classic warehouse and production logistics — in an international academic research environment.
This is proof of technical depth for partners and clients who consider M2M Solutions as a broader digitalization partner, not just a WMS or M2L supplier.
For candidates for development positions, this is a concrete example of work that has a real impact on scientific research.
