CoFAT 2022: M2M Solutions as an innovative outsourcing partner for the automotive industry

At the end of May, our company participated in the Future Automotive Technology 2022 (CoFAT) conference in Erding, Bavaria, which is organized annually by Bayern Innovativ GmbH.

Discussion on the future of the automotive industry

In an innovation-oriented environment, automotive industry experts discussed the revolution that is currently taking place in the automotive world and changing established concepts. The changes relate to drive technologies, the development of charging infrastructure, value creation, and business models related to mobility.

M2M Solutions as a partner for innovative outsourcing

During his presentation, our CEO, Martin Jančo, introduced M2M Solutions as an innovative partner for outsourcing automotive projects with a customer portfolio in more than 12 countries around the world. Together with Konrad Häusler, CEO of our subsidiary Werksrevolution, they had the opportunity to spend two intensive days discussing new technologies in the automotive industry with German companies and research and development institutions, while also learning about the portfolios and innovative solutions of companies such as BMW, MAN Truck & Bus, VW, European Electric Bus Company, and many others.

VW, BMW, and Europe's answer to Tesla

"I was very interested in the presentations by Volkswagen and BMW," says Martin Jančo, continuing: "VW presented its vision in the current situation, in a world full of uncertainty. They introduced their New Auto strategy plan, which aims to sell more electric cars by 2030 while becoming a sustainable mobility provider. Software is expected to generate a significant portion of VW's revenue in the near future. According to a comparison of Tesla and VW presented by the Technical University of Munich, although Tesla is still the technology leader in the electric vehicle market, the difference between it and VW is not that significant. This means that European car manufacturers have a chance to catch up with Tesla.

I also found BMW's presentation on how passenger cars, an integral part of the energy system, can contribute to achieving the goal of a climate-neutral Europe very interesting.

M2M Solutions as an exhibitor

We also participated in the event as an exhibitor at the accompanying trade fair, where we presented our innovative products and established valuable contacts with many companies not only from Germany but also from Slovakia.

The participation of Slovak companies in CoFAT 2022 was supported by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin through an economic diplomacy project.
