Organizing transport logistics at a plant is a complicated process, and companies often face various complications. The most significant risks include manual transport planning, delayed trucks, drivers having trouble communicating with gatekeepers or plant workers, a complicated transport registration process, and trucks getting lost on company premises. Drivers often only speak their native language, and communication is therefore one of the most common stumbling blocks.
Automation and process optimization
Thanks to automation and process optimization, the organization of transport logistics can be much simpler. Our tailor-made solution has helped eliminate most of the problems and has also greatly facilitated the planning and organization of the transport logistics process at the plant.
Introduction to the Dock&Yard system
The Dock&Yard system we have developed can eliminate language barriers, reduce staff workload by 20%, and reduce unloading and loading times by up to 45%, which is a truly significant and noticeable difference.
Intelligent transport registration
The software part ensures the registration of transport into time slots, which guarantees the continuity of transport at the plant. The driver is assigned a transport number, so there are no delays or queues at the entrance to the company premises upon arrival.

Multilingual kiosk and Parcel Locker
The arriving driver selects their language at the multilingual kiosk and then registers under the assigned transport number. After successful registration, they are granted access to the Parcel Locker area, which consists of a set of automatically lockable lockers containing smart devices. The driver is assigned one personalized device for easy communication. The devices are charged wirelessly when not in use.
Navigation and communication on site
Subsequently, the driver receives a prompt via the communication device to drive the truck into the premises. Sensors at the entrance read the vehicle registration number and the ramp opens automatically. The system navigates the driver around the company premises directly to the unloading or loading point. This saves time and the driver does not have to wander around looking for where to go.

Paperless logistics saves time and protects the environment
There is no need to meet with employees during unloading and loading, as the driver can confirm almost all necessary tasks using a smart communication device. Arrivals at individual docks are regulated by traffic lights.
Plant workers have an information panel at their disposal at each dock, where they can see current information about the process in progress. Thanks to a tablet, workers can operate the entire unloading and loading process and confirm individual tasks. The paperless solution saves not only time but also the environment.
End of the process and return of the device
After completing all the necessary tasks, unloading and loading the goods, the driver returns the smart communication device to the Parcel Locker area at the exit of the premises and then leaves the plant.
A new dimension in transport logistics
Thanks to the unattended Dock&Yard system, the transport logistics process takes on a new dimension and most of the everyday problems that companies encounter are solved.

Successful presentation at Lean Summit
We presented the Dock&Yard system, which is part of the transport logistics system, at the Czechoslovak Lean Summit conference, one of the most interesting technology conferences. Many companies present technological innovations that help improve and streamline processes in manufacturing plants.
We also contributed our bit by presenting a case study of an unattended transport logistics system. As a Gold Partner, we were also given space to present other systems at our stand. This created an opportunity for networking, and we were able to meet many partners.
